From what I hear from close friends and associates, once you hit forty, it's common to wake up one day and compare yourself to your younger self.

What I hear from my older friends:

The common phrase today is "She got those 'Megan Thee Stallion' knees.

In my 20s, I was able to dance with the best of them. Couldn't tell me nothing even though I'm not the best dancer.

In my 30s, I was at my sexual prime and could barely find my match.

Here I am 40 plus years old and I find myself wondering what happened to that younger self.

How quickly time flies by and with life just moving forward, you wake up one day and you don't feel as sexy as you used to anymore.

While I'm just 35 years old, I can see how my lady friends eventually get to this stage in life. Many of them have children and married and those two very important entities shift their mindset from themselves to those that they need to care for.

When I talk to my friends, I always hear of their laundry list of things to do around the house, for the kids, for their significant other and not to mention working an 8-5. The list goes on and on but most times what's missing is the most important item....taking care of themselves.

One thing that I have witnessed when my clients are getting #positivelybodiedbyelj is their genuine smile that they express. They are really happy. Even if for 45 minutes, they were able to remember the beauty of themselves and not worry about anyone else and I've accomplished my goal.

No matter the age, I want whoever steps foot in front of my camera to feel an ounce more of confidence than prior to them coming to the studio.
